Andres Ibatta

Born in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte – Brazil, Andres came to the US when he was 18 years old. After back packing through South America, Andres was directly exposed to the current reality of the area, which suffers still under historical oppression. This trip confirmed the burning desire Andress had to change that reality, which the majority has to endure and from which so many profit and benefit.

Returning to the US, Andres started my higher education in the Rockville Campus of Montgomery College, culminating this year in Associates of Arts in International Studies. Andres has started worked with Greenpeace as a street canvasser, raising funds for campaigns aimed to stop Climate Change and creating conscience about the unlimited power that people have to make a difference. Currently Andres is also working for The Ariel Foundation Inc., a Virginia Non-Profit which main goal is to give talented Latin American youth the opportunity to get higher education by providing them with scholarships.
