Mr. James Lafferty is the principal at The Policy Communications Group which a public affairs firm, in Washington, DC. A former newspaper reporter, he served in both the Reagan and George H.W. Bush Administrations, and most recently, was the spokesman for Congressman Tom DeLay (R-Texas). Mr. Lafferty has consulted with the campaigns of Congressman Roscoe Bartlett (R-Maryland) and Congresswoman JoAnn Davis (R-Virginia).

He has managed campaigns for ballot initiatives in several states including the Marriage Ballot Initiative in Massachusetts. The Policy Communications group has represented a wide-range of companies and causes from the media company
Newscorp to the Traditional Values Coalition, a church-lobbying group. The Policy Communications Group has offices in Alexandria, Virginia and on Capitol Hill
