Roberta Scoll, Esq.

Ms. Roberta Scoll is the Vice President for Operations for AFI.

Ms. Scoll was instrumental during the development and start-up of Friends of the Global Fight Against AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation in Washington, DC. She was the Executive Attaché for the organizations’ President, Jack Valenti (Former President, Motion Picture Association of America, Inc.,) in addition to running the day to day office operations. Prior to joining Friends of the Global Fight (HIV/AIDS), Ms. Scoll practiced law in the State of New York.

Ms. Scoll received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Health Education from Queens College, Flushing, New York and did her senior year externship at Jamaica Hospital working with the Child Health Assurance Program. She received her Juris Doctorate from City University of New York School of Law, with a keen focus and interest in public service and public interest law. She is a pro bono attorney with the Nassau Suffolk Law Services focusing on issues involving the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Ms. Scoll is admitted to practice in New York State, the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Federal Claims, United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces. She is a member of the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.

Ms. Scoll is a Member/Performer in the Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island, New York.
