Mr. Kenneth Gyamerah

He is a  student  at the  University of Bristol in the UK.He is studying an MSC In Education Policy and International Development.He is President Obama’s YALI West Africa Emerging Leaders Alumnus ,a Global Youth Ambassador for Education at TheirWorld a, n award winning Advocate for Education and a Chevening Scholar .

As an Education Advocate, he has led campaigns aimed at promoting quality education delivery in underprivileged communities in Ghana. Key among them is the Sustainable Classroom Initiative that empowers Teachers in rural areas with pedagogical approaches to learning.

Kenneth played a vital role as  Global Youth Campaigner for Education He  played an  active role in the

team that mobilized young education campaigners around the world to appeal to global leaders to invest in education in  low income countries through the International Financing Facility for Education (IFFEd). This campaign garnered 1.5million  petitions which was presented to the United Nations General Secretary.

In recognition of his excellent leadership qualities, Kenneth was conferred with the Associate Fellow Award by the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee Trust and Royal Commonwealth Society in 2017.

In 2018, he was appointed by the Royal Commonwealth Society in London, to serve as the Representative of the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition in Ghana.

Through his efforts ,over 10 students in  underserved  schools in the Volta region of Ghana won awards in this year’s competition.

As an ardent contributor to Global Partnership for Education, Kenneth has written several blogs and articles on education in Ghana. He also serves as a one of the five Commonwealth Correspondents  in Ghana-The Commonwealth Voices: providing monthly write-ups on issues around education and the commonwealth as a whole.

In recognition of his ambition, leadership potential and passion in education, Kenneth is the first Ghanaian Teacher whose  profile  was published in The Times Education Supplement Magazine; a UK weekly publication that showcases the works of outstanding teachers.He aims to provide innovative educational interventions that will assist in bridging the performance gap that currently exists between students in the rural and those in the urban communities in Ghana.He is also interest in youth development .
