Sahil Sood is a youth changemaker that aims to catalyze change within his community. He is the founder of an international nonprofit organization that promotes sustainable solutions to prominent issues in the community. His nonprofit organization has donated upwards of $30,000 in resources to impoverished communities, impacting tens of thousands of people across the world with the support of a vast volunteer network. Through his visionary leadership and pursuit of advocacy, he strives to empower youth across the world into a well-equipped coalition armed with the tools to facilitate tangible change.
One of the ways in which this materializes is his mission to help guide students towards their career aspirations. Sahil is the International Vice President of HOSA-Future Health Professionals, a nonprofit career technical organization that aims to help students pursue careers in healthcare. As the youngest member of the International Council, Sahil leads over 250,000 members and 2.7 million alumni towards developing crucial leadership skills, enriching themselves in health science education, and inculcating a culture for servant leadership.
Furthermore, Sahil pursues a myriad of passion projects, involving himself in service-oriented organizations to give back to his community. Among these is Whisper, a grassroots movement aimed towards breaking down the stigma behind mental health issues plaguing adolescents. As a student leader of the movement, Sahil aims to proliferate the message of the movement by stimulating authentic conversation amongst middle and high school students. By forging these bonds within a student body, Sahil is able to promote a sense of genuine connection amongst teenagers, which helps combat the stress and anxiety that affects our youth.
